It’s Easy to Register .ASIA Domain for Everyone This Summer

From this July, .ASIA domain name will be easier for customers outside Asia to register because of the new policy.

From 2007 up to now, in 10 years, if you wanna have a .ASIA domain, you can be individuals, businesses, organizations or even community groups BUT one of your contacts must live in the Asia-Pacific region.

That will be changed on July 15, 2017, when the Charter Eligibility Requirement Policies are updated.

DotAsia Organisation Ltd., the registry operator for .ASIA, has announced that from 15 July 2017, the Charter Eligibility Declaration (CED) contact, Charter Eligibility Administrative (CEA) and Operations and Notifications (OPN) contact will become optional for .ASIA domains.

With the new policy, it will be possible for customers all over the world (out of Asia-Pacific region) to register a .ASIA domain because the need for local presence check during the registration process will be eliminated.

At the moment, there are over 200,000 .ASIA domain names registered and I believe that this number will be increased strongly from this summer.

If you’re planning to expand your business in Asia, let prepare for your first step by writing down the favorite .ASIA name for your domain. It’s will be available since July 15.
